About our Character Strength Workshops
Embrace Virtues interactive workshops explore the Five Strategies of Character Education through Virtues. Practical, hands on sessions show educators and parents how to integrate virtues into every aspect of classroom and family life. Starting with introducing a Virtue of the Week, participants learn how to speak the Language of Virtues, give Virtues Acknowledgements, Set Clear Virtues Boundaries, use Music, Rhythm, Rhyme and repetition to “sing” the virtues, and integrate virtues into craft, art storytelling, quiet time, and important rituals.
Practical and informative handouts and Embrace Virtues resources support the training sessions.
Certificates of participation are awarded on completion of each two hour segment of training.
Who seeks Character Eduction Workshops?
We train staff in Infants and Primary schools, Early Learning Centres, and parents who home school their children.
We also offer our services to staff in community organisations, and family and community support services.
